{"id":272,"date":"2024-06-13T12:28:47","date_gmt":"2024-06-13T12:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/?page_id=272"},"modified":"2024-06-17T14:23:03","modified_gmt":"2024-06-17T14:23:03","slug":"submit-an-application","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/submit-an-application\/","title":{"rendered":"Submit an application"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p><strong>BiomedBench is open to extending the pool of wearable applications<\/strong>, provided that new applications feature new challenges for the hardware.<\/p>\n<p>The submitted applications must have, at minimum, the following characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be related to the biomedical domain and perform inference in real-time (check <a href=\"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/wearable-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application Profile<\/a>) <strong>OR <\/strong>provide a training algorithm for resource-constrained devices (check Bio-BPfree at <a href=\"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/end-to-end-wearable-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Applications<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Feature memory requirements in the range of KiB (check <a href=\"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/application-characterization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application Characterization<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Feature new computational kernels (check <a href=\"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/end-to-end-wearable-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Applications<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your application meets the prerequisites above and you want to contribute to the benchmarking of biomedical wearables, don&#8217;t hesitate to contact us as specified below:<\/p>\n<p>Fill in the <a href=\"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Contact Us<\/a> form, and do not forget to mention the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subject: &#8220;New application for BiomedBench&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>The purpose of the application<\/li>\n<li>A short description of the application and its main computational kernels (like in <a href=\"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/end-to-end-wearable-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Applications<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>A characterization of the application (based on <a href=\"https:\/\/biomedbench.epfl.ch\/index.php\/application-characterization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application Characterization<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BiomedBench is open to extending the pool of wearable applications, provided that new applications feature new challenges for the hardware.
